Germs are all around us. What can we do to reduce germs and chemicals on our hands? First, to wash our hands with soap and flowing water. When water and soap are unattainable, a hand sanitizer is the best option. Hand sanitizers have an important role in the battle against germs. However, not all sanitizers are skin-friendly. Conventional hand sanitizers are packed with parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, and other chemicals. There is a wide array of natural hand sanitizers on the market, containing natural ingredients, with natural scents, and moisturizing effects.
The composition of natural, handmade hand sanitizers:
Essential Oils - Many essential oils have antiviral and antibacterial properties. Essential oils not only combat germs, but also have aromatherapeutic benefits, leaving your hands smelling fresh. You will enjoy the soothing scent of Rose Essential Oil of our natural hand sanitizer.
Alcohol - Alcohol is the key ingredient in CDC compliant hand sanitizers. CDC recommends sanitizers with no less than 60% alcohol content for efficient disinfecting.
Aloe Vera Juice - Natural aloe vera juice is another key ingredient of many hand sanitizers. Aloe vera juice is a rich source of vitamin minerals and antioxidants - B, C, E, folic acid, calcium, magnesium. Alcohol will leave your skin dry. Aloe vera gel it will moisturize and soothe the dry, chapped skin, restoring lost nutrients.
In our shop, we offer locally made, CDC compliant natural hand sanitizers and sanitizer sprays with aloe vera leaf juice and essential oils. Their small, compact size makes them perfect for on-the-go usage.
